The Ghost Within: The Tale of Turmoil is the second studio album by N Pa. A concept album^[1], it is set to be released on September 10th, 2013. The release date and track list was officially announced on N Pa's Tumblr page along with background on the albums premise.^[2]

The album is the second installment and first album to be released in The Ghost Within Trilogy ^[3][4] which includes Tomorrow Comes Today (2013)^[5] and The Ghost Within: Melinda's Madness (The Downfall).^[6]

The album will be narrated by Michael Leonard (who also goes by the alias' Rain-King and Floatstoneheart). He was featured on the tracks Kinetic and Longest Night from N Pa's debut album Sight & Sound.

BackgroundEdit

The album is about our main character Turmoil - which is a play-on-words. The story of the album is not about the death of our beloved main character, but it is about the fight and uncertainty that is in all of us when we’re trying to move on when something tragic happens such as the loss of a loved one for example. For some people, it’s almost impossible to escape the thoughts of someone you’ve loved, whether it is a family member or even a boyfriend or girlfriend. The story goes in and out of the realms of the Reality and Lucid Dreams/nightmares that Turmoil experiences.

Memories is the first single released from the album. It was released on September 7th, 2010 via Stereo FX on iTunes.

• Release Me
  

Release Me is the second single from the album. It was released on April 16th, 2012 as a free download, in conjunction with Stereo FX.^[7]

• Sea of Darkness
  

Sea of Darkness is the third and final single from the album. It was released on N Pa's soundcloud^[8], as will be officially released sometime in the future.^[9][10]

"Devastated by the love of his life leaving him, Turmoil, finds himself drowning in a cesspool of depression and wanting out of his emotional roller coaster ride. The ghost within haunts his thoughts as he feels his grips on sanity slipping away. The listener gets taken on his journey through madness and back again. Join Turmoil in his process musically, and evolve as he does, and as the music progresses, so will he."
