BiographyEdit

N Pa (formerly known as N Pa Productions) is an American Electronic Music producer. He started working as N Pa Productions as early as mid 2007, self-releasing the now unobtainable albums Reality | a dream, and Reality | a dream: The Remixes (& B-Sides). In 2008 and 2009, he collaborated with numerous vocalist and producers from many different genres of music for his official debut album Sight & Sound, as well as producing tracks for multiple artists. Currently, he is working on his second studio album The Ghost Within: The Tale of Turmoil, and the Alternative Hip-Hop EP Unorthodox.

Early Years (2008-2009)Edit

In 2008, He collaborated with Electronic vocalist Lori Cunningham on an ambient track titled Reflections.[1][2] The song would be track 1 on Lori Cunningham's debut album Unseen released in November 2008.[3] [4] For two years, he worked on a collaborative dance album with independent artists from many different genres, including Liz Aday, Myah Marie!, Rain-King, Lori Cunningham, Saint, Digital Elephant, Dacav5, Daade, Coco O'Connor, Incoherent Mumble Train, DJ Punzo, Austin! White, and Bobby Jasso. The album was released on April 27th, 2009 and was titled Sight & Sound.

Following the release of Sight & Sound, he released a Remix and B-Sides Compilation album titled Sight & Sound: The Remixes and B-Sides. The LP features remixes by Silence, Incoherent Mumble Train, kBee, Paul Hetherington, Railster, DJ Punzo, DJ XaQ (Now known as HyJax), and DJ Keef-a-Leef. B-Sides on the album feature Hurry! Let's Go, Myah Marie!, B-Roc of Dacav5, Digital Elephant, The Deadly Duo (Now known as Phalanx Covenant), Deryl Allen, The Heartbreak Emergency, and In Living Color.

On November 3rd, 2009 He released his first 4 track instrumental EP Morning Light, under his new stage name.[5]

On November 26th, 2009, Digital Elephant released her debut album/EP Your Flaws Are Your Perfections. It features one track co-written and produced by N Pa. He also served as a writer, executive producer, graphic designer, and audio engineer for the album. Producers for the album included Forest aka Hikikomori, Luperio, and Lexvox.[6]

Feature Film Debut, EPs, and The Ghost Within Trilogy (2010-present)Edit

A second EP release followed in January 2010, entitled As The Rush Comes.[7] Later in 2010, N Pa's music would appear in the feature film, Standing Ovation, alongside Dacav5 and Daade.[8][9][10] The soundtrack for the film was released on May 25, 2010 and August 2, 2010.[11][12]

On September 7, 2010[13], He released his first single Memories, from his forthcoming second studio album The Ghost Within: The Tale of Turmoil. It was released by London based Independent record label Stereo FX on iTunes.[14][15]

The Ghost Within: The Tale of Turmoil is the first release, and second installment in The Ghost Within Trilogy. which will also include the EP Tomorrow Comes Today and the third studio album The Ghost Within: Melinda's Madness (The Downfall).

On February 10, 2012[16] It was announced that his long awaited second single "Release Me" was set to be released on Release Me: The Remixes EP in March/April of 2012.[17] A preview of the track was posted on N Pa's Soundcloud and Youtube[18]channel.

On February 22, 2012 N Pa announced that the release date for Release Me: The Remixes EP had been pushed back to May 15, 2012, and that it will be released by his label, Stereo FX.[19] A month later, it was announced that the EP would be released in April 2012 as a free download in conjuction with his label.

On April 16, 2012 Release Me: The Remixes EP was released as a free download on Soundcloud[20][21][22], as well as being released on his Bandcamp[23], and Mediafire account.[24]

On June 15, 2012, He posted a promotional single from The Ghost Within: The Tale of Turmoil. The song Blistered, features vocals by Hard Rock vocalist Chris Volz and was originally intended to be the second single from the album.[25]

On July 24, 2012 He announced that the Alternative Hip-Hop EP Unorthodox will be self-released in 2013, and that it will feature rappers Numerous, Kobrah, and more.[26] It was also announced that the first single from Unorthodox will be Who Am I (In The Mirror) featuring Numerous and Stacey Dee.[27][28]

On September 30th, 2012 It was announced that the third and final single, "Sea of Darkness" from The Ghost Within: The Tale of Turmoil will be released on December 4th, 2012 and will feature vocals by Richard Bush of The Peace Creeps with co-production by Bionik. It will be released by Stereo FX on iTunes, AmazonMP3, and other digital stores.[29][30][31][32]

On October 23rd, 2012 It was announced that the first single from Unorthodox, "Who Am I (In The Mirror)" would be released on December 18th, 2012 as a free download.[33][34]

Who Am I (In The Mirror) was released on December 18th, 2012 as a free download[35][36][37][38][39][40], and it was also annouced that Sea of Darkness will not be released until Februrary 2013[41][42][43][44], and that it will feature a remix by DJ/producer/radio host DJ Gabster.[45][46]

On January 19th, 2013, N Pa announced that the demo track "Feel Your Love" would be released on the EP Feel Your Love: The Lost Demo which will include a remix of the song. It was released for free on Janruary 22nd, 2013 on BandCamp.[47][48][49]

On April 1st, he un-officially released the third and finale single from Rhe Ghost Within: The Tale of Turmoil, Sea of Darkness on his Soundcloud. The single also includes a remix by Radio Host DJ Gabster, with an unspecific official release date for the future.[50]

On April 20th, he released the second single, MapQuest, on his Soundcloud[51] and Bandcamp[52] pages for free. The song was then released on Skyy Royal's debut mixtape/album "Californication/ The Album on April 21st on DatPiff.[53]

On May 9th, the track list and release date for his forthcoming second studio album, The Ghost Within: The Tale of Turmoil was officially announced, with no label backing present, the album will be released on September 10th, 2013.[54]
